Golf Days
Golf days always make great corporate events because they provide fun for the whole family - or at least the good ones do. If you are hosting any kind of golf day it is always a good idea to try to include non-golfing activities so that as many people can participate as possible.
Golf events are of course promotional events at the end of the day, and you need to make sure that every aspect of the day is geared towards promoting your brand. This is where promotional gifts to give out at your golf days come in.
If you managed to promote your golf day properly for the whole family, then you will need a wide range of items to hand out that will both get people into the spirit of things, and promote your brand. Plastic or foam peak caps or peaks are always a good idea as everybody needs to use them. Kids will hang onto these for weeks, showing your brand name to their friends. These should be distributed in a gift pack to everyone at your golf day. Included in this pack should be an assortment of items that are useful on the golf course like tees and ball markers.

Butt Out - Play Better Golf
Well that's a bit rude, isn't it? Maybe at first glance you may think I am being a little offensive but, excuse the pun, there is a good reason.

Do you wonder why it is that some days are just not good golf days? How is it that on Saturday you can go out on to the course and play brilliantly and on Sunday, same course you can not buy a decent drive?

A very common fault among all us amateur golfers is posture. Golf is an athletic sport despite my wife's opinion and as such it requires you to adopt a sportsmanlike pose.
The Augusta Masters Golf Tournament
Arnold Palmer kicked off the 72nd Masters with many people wondering whether Tiger Woods could win yet another tournament. Tiger did in fact struggle on the first two days however few would write him off at this early stage. Tiger is a true fighter and is sure to be there or there abouts on the last day.

The first day at the Augusta National Park will be remembered by a superb whole in one from the Brit Ian Poulter. Poulter renowned from his bizarre collection of clothes which he has seemingly toned down in recent years managed to whole out at the 14th hole much to his delight. His form continued into day two as he stormed to five under par and just three behind the leader Trevor Immelman.
